Donations are accepted via cash, check, and credit card.
Your United Way investment, combined with countless of other caring donors, is allocated to address the health and human service needs of people in our local community. These activities include analyzing community needs, investing in social service agency programs, providing emergency relief in times of disaster, building awareness of important issues, raising financial and volunteer support, creating partnerships and developing programs to fill social service gaps, and advocating for policy change. Fox Valley United Way is dedicated to this community and will work towards providing services to meet the critical health and human service needs in the community.
As little as $1/week can make a difference! We are fighting the problems of the cost of living and it does not get any easier.

SOUPER BOWL OF CARING FOOD DRIVE
In cooperation with Jewel-Osco, Fox Valley United Way is working together to help fill the shelves of our local food pantries. Each year these pantries experience a significant reduction in donations after the holidays, limiting their ability to help families who are struggling to avoid homelessness. Your $1.00 donation will equal $8.00 of buying power to our local pantries to purchase food from the Northern Illinois Food Bank. 100% of all donations for the Souper Bowl of Caring will go directly to our local pantries. This food drive is our annual event in support of our Feed the Hungry Initiative.
FEED THE HUNGRY INITIATIVE
Now, more than ever, our local food pantries are being affected by the overwhelming rise of the number of individuals and families in need of assistance. This growth has increased by over 300%! With your contribution, we can help our neighbors provide for their families. Please donate now and contribute to the Feed the Hungry Initiative to support our local food pantries. Your $1.00 donation will help to purchase $8.00 worth of food for the pantries.
COMMUNITY ACTION FUND
Your donation is designated to focus around the three United Way community investment areas - Education, Income and Health.
SPARK
Strong, Prepared And Ready for Kindergarten - Aurora Early Childhood Collaboration. SPARK is an Aurora initiative that brings together community leaders, the City of Aurora, local school districts, early childhood programs, and community agencies to build an early childhood system that will ultimately improve outcomes for Aurora's children. With the commitment to improve outcomes for Aurora’s young children, the Dunham Fund is providing the start-up funding through a two-year challenge grant. For every dollar raised, the Dunham Fund will match those donations for up to $250,000.
